I started my insurance career immediately from leaving school in 1983 with a local broker in my home town of Watford. With the exception of a few years back in the eighties when I tried my hand as a London courier among other things, I have remained in the insurance industry ever since. I moved to Devon where I worked for an Exeter based broker until I set up Anchorman Insurance in 1998.
I am happily married and have two daughters, I am a big F1 fan and every year since 2001 I have been lucky enough to have a boy's weekend away watching a race somewhere in Europe.
